I'm cool without, it's black - prolly won't look great on trans surf green! But I will keep an eye out, I reckon it'll make for quite an interesting guitar if I make it an esquire.

I just converted my tele into an esquire love it 3--cocked wah 2-volume and tone 1-straight out.Anyone know how I should wire it so that 1-no volume control but tone in circuit? I think that would be perfect for lead.

No, I like the added sparkle of bridge pickup straight out, if I use the tone to load it, not sure if it would be enough difference to position 2.

Just has my first Esquire rehearsal, really loved it, there's so many sounds in there! And it just plays great.

Question for you kone,what value cap are You using for the eldred mod is it 0.0047uf?

I have just got a pack of 2 Mylar 0.0047 caps to do the Eldred mod so if anyone wants the spare, give me a shout.

To be honest I can't remember as I got a load of alternate values to play with, and will have to check see what I have in there.

I've just put that scheme into an Esquire for camf, I tried several cap values and went for .0022uF - the target being "sounding a bit like a neck pickup".
