I thought it was a great antidote to last weeks episode.

i found Carols act a lot more annoying than Ezekiels, but I suspect that was done on purpose since we have seen it all before.

for the record, I am happier with a bad CGI tiger than the use of a real tiger

sort of  excited to see Morgan as he's one of my faves. Thought the episode was a bit meh to be honest.

I thought the CGI was good, possibly the best TV CGI., we aren't talking Jungle Book budget here.

Just caught up on Ep 2 - that was a bit shit...

Hopefully just setting the storyline for the season, but if it carries on like this I may be calling it a day on my Walking Dead interests.

Caught up last night. I love a Carol episode, she's very much the point of TWD to me. Morgan another favorite. Surprised that the connection between the kingdom and the saviours was spelled out so clearly, they normally like to drag a reveal out for longer. Maybe not a classic episode but thankfully not another week of torture porn.

I thought Ep 2 was ok. They couldn't have sustained the tension and amount of violence of Ep 1 so it was almost bound to be a change of mood. I'm not that convinced by Ezekiel at the moment, he's just too theatrical to be believable as a leader. Maybe that'll change as it goes along though. 

@EricTheWeary yes I'm a Carol fan too. Mostly sensible but a gritty mofo when the chips are down. Managed not to be an irritating twat like Korl either. (Please, somebody kill him off ) 

Not sure what the relevance of feeding the pigs on walkers is? Just a cheap and available food source or something more sinister?

I think feeding the pigs on walkers was just a joke at the saviours expense. On the basis that everyone has the 'thing' that makes you a walker when you die you can't catch it as such so presumably the pigs eating walker flesh is harmless, just not a very nice thought.

I think Judith is back in Alexandria with father Gabriel, seem to remember a scene last season saying he would take care of her while Rick was gone .

The Pigs/Walker thing I presumed was to show contempt for the saviours or give them the shits !

2. win trust of new people, get false sense of security

When there's so much other great TV being made and I already don't have enough hours to watch it all... I'm kinda over it. 

I stopped after season 4 I think based purely on this. I've no idea how the showrunners think they can get away with a rinse and repeat formula that no other series would dare to use. In 7 series of the show, albeit judging from what other people have said about it, there hasn't been any progression in character development.

Based on what's been said about the last episode, the writer's are finally showing that they've lost control the plot or that they have a sizeable amount of contempt for their audience. With the amount of great TV there is on Netflix, I'm wondering why people keep watching for a payoff that probably isn't coming.

I think this will be  my last series unless they find a new approach in this one

Normal length but yeah , it felt a bit short...
Good episode though - neegan is annoying imho. lean forwards with this creepy talk of his. I like the actor but I'm not sure about his performance.
