Foo fighters rumoured to be playing a gig at the cheese and grain in Frome tonight. 

My invitation must have got lost in the post or something. Boo!

I'm sure they'd be happy to have a few fretboarders in the audience, if only they knew about us!

Wouldn't surprise me. I saw The Stranglers there a few years back, doing a warm up gig for Glastonbury. Good venue with a decent PA.

I watched their live stream, and played along. Wished I was there, it was a great gig! Only a few miles away from me too...

Was half tempted to drive down and just hang around outside

Nah, fuck off. There's one more annoying, which is:

*sees a positive thread about a band that they don't like*

*HAS to go and shit on said band in thread*

Plus, while I TOTALLY concur that you don't need to be a creator of something in order to have a critical opinion on the work of others (and hence, I give you a wisdom), I do think the world would be a much better place if people led by example, rather than standing carping at the sidelines but not actually contributing to the sum of human happiness (or misery, if anyone ever cared to click on my sig line links.  ).
