Dyson, unreliable, heavy, gimmick based products, if their design dept was as good as their marketing dept, they would be world beating.
If the Dyson style vacuum had been invented first, someone else would have invented the vacuum with the bag.  Covering yourself in dust every time you empty the bastard thing is the most stupid design flaw ever.  But people think it's brilliant.

More mess when you empty isn't better - it's worse!

KFC still can't figure out how to make chips.  The entire menu is based around frying.  It just makes no sense.
This. But it's probably a good thing - it's my guilty pleasure food of choice, and if they managed to make decent fries instead of their pale, soggy imitations, I'd eat there a lot more often.

    Doom Bar......

Overrated, perhaps, but I wouldn't say shite - it's a decent, mid-strength ale. GK IPA, on the other hand, is terrible, and if it's all that's on offer, I'll drink lager instead.

could apply that to any American brand regarding the chips

Baffles me that in the USA you can't get a decent coffee, cup of tea, bacon butty or a good pint

I'll agree Nando's is utter shite.

however I cant agree with Dyson or earnie Ball.

My Dysons great, never gone wrong and works very well for me.

EB, love their guitars ,necks and their strings, only string maker who's strings last for me.  Everyone else's need changing every few weeks, I get months out of Slinky's and I like the way they sound.

Agreed ... how the hell did they persuade millions of people they couldn't write a letter without spending £60 a year on office

    In defense of...

Bose, I've got a couple of their products that I love, and were not that expensive, especially their noise cancelling headphoned (QC15)

Ernie Ball... noticed Mr Homer slagging these off a couple of days ago on another thread.  I thought these were roughly on a par with D'addario and the like, unless they've gone downhill.  @richardhomer I think you may have come off your medication, as you seem to have developed a vendetta against them - along with Lazy J who I also am a user of...

Volkswagen... a pretty good company based on my experience, though our current Polo does seem to be burning oil at an alarming rate

    They didn't.

In the early days products like Lotus were copy protected when Office wasn't.  They got the whole world hooked on it and then started copy protecting it and making people pay through the nose.
