it's the middle of august, it's Friday evening, I have the best part of a bottle of elderberry wine in me belly and I'm watching live rugby, for free, on the internet. Alright, at the moment it's only French top 14 rugby (Toulon v Montpellier) but it's still live rugby.

    Sounds good. Only 3G in my rural retreat, so no rugby. But being sat in the middle of an Olive grove with a nice Rioja and some cured Iberian ham is defo progress compared to being sat next to pittbull owning neighbours in Stoke Newington.

    just looking at the 1st day of the premiership, if I've understood it right, I get to watch 4 games on that weekend. That's almost as many as I used to get to watch in a year!!! Out in the sticks it's not the best bandwidth, and it shows, but it's still acceptable.

    it's a deal through BT. Free if you have BT broadband, just started this year. I thought it was just the premiership, but it seems I get French top flight rugby, or some of it at least. Not looked into what else I get, I'm guessing I won't get the England autumn internationals.
