Close. The violet PRS. Paid what he bought it for amd sent the man a wee pressie. If anyone needed a boost it was that man. Indeed if anyone were to ask me what a "real man" is, I'd point to Thomas over the past few months.

I've wowed every one of Mags' posts in this thread because one on the post with the reveal was not enough. I expect he'll hit 4k frets before I'm finished typing.

As I've told Tigger many times, it is a beautiful guitar. I've always done my best to dissuade him from selling every time he's considered it, but this is most elegant.

If he manages to make Guns amd Roses in Madrid then he'll get to play it again, between beers and poolside banter. It looks stunning and I like PRS customs so was an easy call. And if me having it helps someone out, even better.

Never thought I'd see the day but needs must... the quilt on it only comes into "power" when playing live as it comes to life with the correct light on it (I can evidence this with pics if anybody is interested). It's the wood library model and the maple neck feels like silk - fairly low action so very playable. I swapped the 59/09 covered pups for 85/15 uncovered pups about a year ago - they sound better (there's a full review in the "Guitars" section of this website). Really, it's just a very playable, lovely looking and fantastic sounding guitar - I've always been more of a "player" so I trust 'mags likes how this guitar is as I chose it as a top-end workhorse gigging guitar (only gigged twice, though - @ICBM heard it once at Whistle Binkies). 

UPS tells me it was delivered today. I packed it very heavily! Let me know what you think - hope you love it

High five for PRS!
In truth (and I know I've said it many times...) it's mainly the core line satin maple neck models I like... the ebony fingerboard makes it that bit extra special, too (in my opinion!).
