Nut to neck transition

Best way to do it without flash gear? I've just had a go but I've ended up with the angle too steep, I need to try and get it a bit shallower. Probably would have been easier getting the angle right first time.

Do you mean the back of the neck?

I use Herdim rasps from Dictum.
They are excellent and not too expensive.

Fender style headstock?
I use a Herdim rasp and then a wine cork wrapped in adhesive sandpaper to finish off.
