ANY movie by Roland Emmerich. (Independence Day, etc.)

...Basically if any new character appears mid-way through the movie, you know he'll get a few lines and then be dead by the end of that scene.

Any Barbie movie. Mind numbingly boring and you can't even shag her.

Blimey not heard that one mentioned for a while, brilliant film. I saw it at 6th form and had to buy it on video as soon as I could. Interesting thing about that though is that I went to 6th form in 2006 and videos were old hat even then... I'd probably say that film would be even more scary if you knew what was going to happen.

    My suggestion would be either:

The Lego Movie - there's quite a lot of moderate peril to go through, especially the devilish deception of Taco Tuesday, which you'd be really annoyed about when you find out at the end it's only a kid playing that's making it up.

Or Donnie Darko, because it's quite hard to be certain what happened even having watched it too many times, so being in the middle of it for the first time I think would be pretty terrifying.

Nah. I'm quite good at sums and everyone likes me. I'd be fine.

    On The Beach
Still one of the most genuinely frightening films ever made.

    Or

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (the Donald Sutherland version is probably the most scary.)

The Vanishing (original, haven't seen the remake and don't care.)

Ghostbusters. Imagine surviving the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man only to find out that you've been revamped several years later in a PC feminist shithouse movie.

some of them old black and white films looked pretty grim, not able to talk at all and you had to do that kinda fast, jerky walking thing. And everything was grey.

    "They Live"

But seeing as compared to today's world it isn't that fictional, I'll go with...

I was quite relieved by the end of The Mist but, to this day, I regret wasting my time watching the film ;)

All those horror movies where they lose their cell (sic) signal and can't call for help. That'd be so annoying.

I have yet to actually make it to the end of that film. It looks like something that I should watch but can never quite get in to it.

@VimFuego it's not a *bad* film but the SFX are laughable. They distract from the film, and not in a good way ;)
