Go on laugh ........I have had the Voodoo Vibe,Viscous Vibe,Drybell Vibe , MXR and Bearfoot Mint Green Vibe 
IMO -THIS IS BETTER even tho 'it's a low rent alternative
just a better sound and much more useable across other music aside from the Hendrix and Trower catalogue
It doesn't have the annoying whoosh throb that comes through the speaker and it has a brilliant blend knob that allows to soften the effect and make it a bit more subtle .
TRY IT -YOU WILL BE VERY SURPRISED.

-read some reviews ;it really is a brilliant pedal
-just like the way that the Cool cat drive is a great Timmy clone for kid's pocketmoney cost
