Hello everyone, I'm Dan, 37 from the North West. I'm a home player on electric guitar and bass. Not very advanced as never had a lesson but enjoyed bimbling along since 1992/3 ish. Peaked in about '95/6 at a battle of the bands! Getting back into music last couple of years and even had my first jam in 2 decades last year. Peace!

Hey all,
Niall here - been playing guitar for over a decade, but not played live or in a regular band for a while. Been lucky enough to have an OK setup for home use, but miss having the chance to crank a tube amp up loud due to living in a flat - once in a while I'll rent a session room just to keep things at bay!
Q1: Where did you username come from?
I'm not one for anything too creative as a username - its related to my own name!
Q2: Where in the world/country are you?
UK - Scottish, but lived between Glasgow/Edinburgh/London over the last decade!
Q3: What's your main musical ambition?
To at least just be able to get a regular jam session of sorts... schedule doesn't let me right now!
Q4: Your "best" bit of gear - just the one?
2009 American Standard Stratocaster - Its irreplaceable to me as I've modded it a little, and it just feels right to play every time. Bests every other strat I've owned (even other americans!).
Q5: Your #1 ever track - again, just the one?
Where Is My Mind - The Pixies
(Long story - but lets just keep the reason to summer & teenage drinking in a field!)

Hi, I'm Ste.
I'm 26, I picked my guitar back up after a few years without playing and it has been somewhat more addictive than ever before! I was in a band while at school and had lessons for a few year. However, I'm enjoying it that much that I'm considering throwing the towel in with my job, moving to London, and working as a guitar teacher- so that I can be in a location with more guitar opportunities. I currently play as often as possible, every day- sometimes 4 hours a day. Am I going a bit mad? Should I really run away to London- Possibly I just need a gap year or so
