But my favourite outro is The Beatles Hello Goodbye
Randy Rhoads - TonightRitchie Blackmore - Since you've been gone
Jimmy Page- Black Dog
Joe Satriani - Speed of Light
Guns N Roses - Night Train
Tony Peluso - Goodbye to love
Greeny - Need your love so bad.
Any number of Lukather ones - where to start?
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Telegraph Road, Tunnel of Love and Sultans are close to perfection for me. The Sultans version on Alchemy is unbeatable
Comfortably Numb from Pulse
Freebird for sure
Gary Moore's outro on Over the Hills
Norum on Rock the Night
Anything by Mark Reale on Riot's Thundersteel album. Each one has a bombastic, awesome ending
Three Boats Down from the Candy - simple but beautifully melodic. Also Rothery's playing behind the vocals at the end of Forgotten Sons is epic
Paradise City is cool

Bark at the Moon by Ozzy Osbourne.
Agreed with @not_the_dj about Ace of Spades, the ending is just perfect.
But my favourite is the very end of Ooh Song by King's X, it's fading almost to inaudibility and Ty Tabor changes the riff. It kills me every time.
Yeah, I bought that a few weeks ago. It was very interesting to hear how it evolved, and that it was a guitar riff originally.
An extremely cool riff, but SO much more effective on bass guitar - I was really impressed with the artistic decision making that the outtakes seem to show.
Anyway, if we're not allowed Layla, how about Stairway? hehe
Zoot Allures
ZAPPA.......................
Now you've got me thinking of old songs with long guitar outros...
Boogie No More - Molly Hatchet
Green Grass and High Tides - The Outlaws
Lost Horizon - MSG
Back on the Road Again - REO Speedwagon
Winds of Change - Y&T
I'm not saying they're "the greatest"....
I don`t think it was Sambora on the record either - could be wrong!
*An Official Foo-Approved guitarist since Sept 2023.
The outro starts at 2:42 - its the song that made me want a Jazzmaster
Skip to 4mins if you want to hear the outro only...
