We were there 2 years ago and it's also a good base for getting up to the the northern coastline (Giant's Causeway etc).
Carrick-A-Rede Rope bridge is great and on the way to The Giant's Causeway and the coastal path is wonderful

The Crown Bar is worth a visit, it hasn't changed its decor since the 1820s, very nice bar.
mourne Seafood Bar is worth checking out if you like seafood.
If you are a Led Zepp fan, you have to pay homage at the Ulster Hall as this was the place where Stairway to Heaven was played for the very first time live.
As others have already said, the drive along the Antrim coast from Belfast to the Causeway is pretty superb.
Even after more than 40 years in Devon her accent is still pretty strong.
There are some great pictures of my uncle from the early 70s. He grew his hair long so that he didn't get mistaken for an English soldier when he went over there.
