To be truly disappointed, surely one needs to fork out booteek levels of dosh. I nominate the KOT - not cause its a bad pedal but considering the hype it gets and the prices they go for, they are entirely meh at home volumes.
It doesn't even do that. And from what I understand its not 'faulty'...
Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe + was also a big let down, especially considering the reputation
I'm thinking someone's passed you a dud.
It was an average wah and a crap distortion in the same box, not a fuzz-wah at all, and it sounded nothing like Jimi. Miraculously I managed to sell it on for what I paid for it, eventually.
Most "booteek" overdrive pedals I've ever tried have been entirely disappointing too...
And the Nobels ODR-1 - not terrible, but just rather bland and characterless, and not deserving of the hype it gets.

I can't understand what for... distortion perhaps?
My expectations weren't high at £10 but frankly, its not even worth that IMHO.
Tell y'all what... if anyone thinks they can make this sound anything other than shit and wants it for the cost of postage, they can have it.
We used to buy them for a tenner and use them to overload our JCM800 heads, no idea why, but we thought it was funny when I was about 15.
