The whole point of a multi effects is it should be able to sound a bit like everyone but that demo does nothing to show that.
Mind you if the drives are anything like the ones in my GT10 then I can understand why
It's slightly cheaper, so if you wanted all three of those, and if it copies *everything* from those pedals and doesn't limit the order you can run them in, it would seem a sensible choice given how much other stuff you'd also get.
Chances are that you'll be limited in *some* way though- each of those pedals give you eight assign functions (read the manual- really cool stuff), and I doubt the GT-1000 will have 24(!), so if you were already familiar with those pedals and used the assigns a lot you might not want to switch.
It's probably worth waiting for the manual to appear on the Boss website to see exactly what you can do with the GT-1000 compared to the xx-500s.

his demos are great and he makes great patches too. I bet he will have some great ones for sale on his website once the GT-1000 is released.
