The Twin also weighs substantially more, but I think you probably guessed that - although it's not as unmanageable as you may think, the blackface ones are only about 65lb. They got much heavier through the silverface models in the 1970s.

The Twin is probably the most brilliantly spanky, strident clean amp ever. They also sound *amazing* when wound up into overdrive as well. But it's so loud noone has ever heard it with their own ears and survived.
They're not *that* loud . Nowhere near a Marshall Super Lead into two 4x12"s... although you probably won't get away with it at most gigs these days - and I agree, they do sound great overdriven.
Plug into the Normal channel and jumper to the Vibrato channel to add a little reverb or tremolo if you want it - with the reverb and intensity turned up further than normal and the treble turned down. The Normal channel doesn't have the treble-pass cap (which is what causes the fizz) in the reverb mixer section, since it has no reverb.
