Try just cleaning up the knife edges with a fine file, and put a bit of grease on them - chances are they'll work perfectly well.

The plastic bobbin makes it possible to manipulate the rod magnets with no fear of damaging the copper coil. Thus, it would be possible to convert a Tex-Mex pickup from a RH stagger pattern to flush with the cover or, as I did, to a shallow LH stagger pattern.
I associate the 63mm vibrato bridge pivot post spacing with a low budget Sung-il design, common to the Squier Standard range and lower priced variants of the Cort G series. The baseplate knife edges are not so much bashed as made from cheese. I know of no direct substitute or any easy way to upgrade its weaker features. Fill and redrill may be the only answer.
