Best LP top refinish job around London?

Pure vanity but I'd prefer my sunburst R9 top a little bit more the traditional red-ish than the current brown so looking for the best options around London? Any suggestions and idea of £££ as well? Thanks!

You could try speaking to Martyn Booth to see if he would consider refinishing your R9 ... Not sure if he does refinishing work now though, but he did work at one time early in his career for Gibson Guitars UK.
He's based in Sudbury which is not too bad a drive from London ... His own Martyn Booth models that I've seen were beautifully finished and superior to the finish on the Gibson CS historic models I've owned over the last 20 years.

Yuuki McClure shoots some of the best vintage burst finishes I have seen. He uses all the right stuff too.

He's somewhere in Norfolk I think.

I think you are mad to do that to that guitar, but each to their own.

well so far it has been only a thought.

in any case prices are going up so fast + is not that easy to sell at that asking price so I don't think I can get another one exactly as I want it.

If you want a nice vintage looking guitar Yukki does great work imo

He does alot of vintage restoration too

I say cheers, but I don't do Facebook and haven't got an Instagram account. Shame he hasn't got a presence on here or a website. Mustn't need the biz I guess.
