Fender pickup experts?

Googling suggests that Fender CS Fat 50s pickups covers are a bit like Schrodingers cat, in that they both are and are not a direct swap for bog standard Fender pickup covers.

Does anyone actually *know* ? 

Also what colour would folk go with on this, where the body has gone cream and the plate is greeny ?

Exactly the same as all other fender pickup covers, bar the ones fitted to the noiseless pickups and they aren't really supposed to be removed.

they should be the same - granted some pick ups have taller pole pieces - but effectively one size fits all

if to white and new jut age them a  touch - coffee dipped or in tea leaves fora  while can help to 'yellow' them - and if need be just simply scuff them a touch to look 'used'

With regards to looks, a torty plate with aged white plastics is hard to beat.
