They claim to be reversing the F of the logo so it actually looks like an F....can't post photos from this device otherwise I would show you

It does look like an 'F'. It depends on your cursive writing style. Sure  - it doesn't look like a block but I grew up going to an American school for a few years and we had to write some elaborate-ass 'f's. 

But definitely a weak as crap April fool I've seen better pranks from my 6 years old. #tryharder

Not at all. Its for the  new headstock  design they are going to introduce .3 tuners aside .All new Fenders will have three a side
Gibson style headstock as Bono has decreed it .
