Is search a bit broken?

Trying to search on term 'Princeton'. It returns several pages of results, but I can only view the first page. If I click on the next page arrow or another page number button it chops the leading 'P' off the search term and returns a new page with no results for 'rinceton'.

Is this a known bug or something to do with me? Using Chrome on PC.

Yep - it's a totally confounding bug. Use a lower-case "p", and it should be fine.

Alas no, all lowercase makes no difference.

Is it just that one word? Just tried a few other searches and they worked fine. Weird!

It appears to be any word beginning with "p". What a marvellously interesting bug!

If you use the prefix "Site:thefretboard.co.uk into google then your search term it will work really .. like this

site:thefretboard.co.uk Princeton

I've found that too. Just type a space before the search term.

But the correct answer to "Is search a bit broken?" is "No - it's a bit shit".
