The horns remind me a little of the Westone Thunder basses.

Amazing value for money they are. And weigh about as much as a car.

Sort of. I'd already done the neck and body, and I'd done a complete rewire and pickup swap on the NSG. It's the first of my guitars I've assembled in the new Sporkshop (which I'm stealing, royalty free ).

I have one other that needs assembly (and fretting) and then time to start something from scratch.

Very impressive @Sporky, honest of you to show us when and where things went wrong during the build. You put a lot of effort in building the bass. Now go and play it some. Enjoy.

I wonder if the going-wrongs will put paid to the widespread theory that CNC means chucking wood in one end and getting a complete guitar out of the other...
