Changing username?

Hi, who do I need to speak to about changing my username please?

Yeah I remember it being a mission when I wanted to change mine - what's the reason for the reluctance?

It's easier to just create a new account, and start again.

Surely it's a consideration for consistency in trading deals. Someone with a bad rep could change their username then start selling, anyone who isn't a regular would probably be none the wiser

Yes, it does. In fact, it gets you banned on most forums these days.

That's one of the considerations, yes - also, it breaks all the links where the original account name was tagged in posts and quotes no longer make sense. That makes it rather annoying when reading threads.

I didn't realise it could cause problems, it's not a necessity that I change it, I just saw a name that suited me more and would have preferred it. No worries.
