It absolutely did mate. 

There used to be a TV and Film theme section in Total Guitar back in the 90s, (could still be there for all I know) I learned tons of party tricks and started transcribing whatever I was listening to/watching.

Hadn't done that for well over a decade but started doing so since your video.
