Where can I get some really strong Velcro tape for my pedal board? Not too expensive either

do you mean for your pedals to stick to the board or to actually cover the board itself?

If its the first then DIY or dressmaking shops or amazon tend to be the suggestions. If its the latter then value door mats or carpet tiles are much, much cheaper than trying to buy enough velcro to cover a whole pedalboard. I replaced the velcro on my Kinsman board with a Tesco value doormat and it was much better than the original material, cost about £2 I think.   

The glue that sticks the velcro to the pedal is nearly always more problematic than the velcro itself. Indeed, with really strong velcro every chance after a few pulls ( ooh err missus)the pedal will come away in your hand leaving the velcro still attached to the board.

Yes I meant male and female Velcro on tape. One for the board and one to stick on the pedal. It needs to stay attached to the pedal though. I've had Velcro like you mentioned before and it's a right pain. Strong strong strong :-/

In a pinch I picked some up from Clas Ohlson recently and it seems to be stronger than the stuff that came with my Pedal Train board.  Not as cheap as stuff you'd find online but I had no choice as I needed it that night.

They have a couple of high street shops too.  The only reason I bought my velcro from there was I wanted it same day so mail order was out of the question.
