After years and years of abuse my Replex was finally brought down by our youngest and a bottle of apple juice.  It had valiantly survived everything thrown at it up until that point but a combo of toddler and baby cider was just two much.....well nearly.  It started humming like crazy so was whipped of my board quick smart.  This presented me with the issue of now having a space on my board so large that gypsy occupation was a real concern so something had to be done.  Stripped if down, cleaned it out and whilst in there changed a couple of scratchy pot and it back up and running.  This beast is going to outlive every last El Capistan out there.  Love it.

Looks bulletproof, too, good effort on actually fixing it! Woulda been a crying shame to throw it, sounds wonderful!

I have never found anything that quite does what it does.  My wife said we could buy a replacement but that would just be a waste of funds we could spend on other gear.
