the one that gets me is how to type in that ultra happy orange smiley plectrum emoticon that I see on here quite often.  I always seem to come up with some angry crappy one when I type in what I think is the correct ascii code for it !

The drop down menu for : D shows it as one of those yellow default editor emoticons, the one that is "disappointed", which is why I never posted it, entirely the wrong emotional association.  Now I know better.  I much prefer the original tFB plectrum emoticons, they are "ours", he says being nationalistic (FretBoard-istic?) and proud !  Thanks for creating them @Sporky ;

They are indeed. There's a development kit of sorts if you want to make more - just a set of basic shapes in Inkscape format.

I'll dig out the download link if anyone fancies a go.

I was using emoticons from The StompBox.net, but sadly that shut down.

Found the link - this is an SVG file that you can edit in Inkscape. Other fine applications may exist. Then talk to the modmins about adding them.
