Catalinbread Formula 5

Up for sale is my Catalinbread Formula 5 looking for offers around £90 - but also looking to swap + cash for a Crowther Audio Hotcake.

This is a 5e3 'tone' pedal. There are various reviews on the net. Its designed to be added to the front end of a clean amp & works particularly well with fenders, ie a deluxe reverb, princeton etc. BUT, you've got to hear it in the front end of a Yamaha THR10c set to the deluxe setting, simply wow !

Its really is a bloody good pedal - for me it sounds at its best when driven by a battery, however I only have a 'very cheap' 12v adapter for pedals from ebay driving it. With a battery it has that 5e3 sag & sounds bloody awesome.

I'm only selling it because over the past year I've been buying pedals & trying amps to find 'my tone' for ages I thought the 5e3 was the circuit for me, but, it turns out that I like very clean amps with ga whisker of growl when I dig in aka Komet, Dumble that type of thing, so am saving up for one of those. I'm also not a big 'pedal' guy.

Any questions, please feel free to mesage.
