Photobucket blocked 3rd party hosting

I can only guess they're having issues with serving the traffic that is being pushed by serving static content on other websites. Thus driving people to get premium subscriptions to the platform. I suspect they'll be gone eventually.

Facebook. Upload your pics but only for you to see. Then you can reference them from here without clogging up your Facebook timeline for others.

Whenever I try to look at any Imgur images posted on here on my phone, it never works for some reason, it just never materialises as an image?

Yeah I think the way they did this was a bit annoying.... If they had given some warning I think some people may have paid..  Just pulling the rug like they did is just going to piss people off... and indeed they can kiss my arse.

And agreed with what was said above.  They had seemed to sort out all the issues recently and it was working really well.. Then this....

The ads are actively driving people away from it.

What actively drove me away from it was getting two or three promotional emails a day from them, even after clicking unsubscribe on every single one. Useless site anyway - they deserve any business hardship that comes their way IMO.

The downside of Facebook is a lot of us can't see those at work, which gets super annoying!  Imgur isn't usually blocked

Pasted in using the full html code, as described in the ChrisMusic 'posting pictures' thread. Works perfectly on every platform as far as I know.

Just registered with Imgur now.
Looks like it works in a similar way, but if I copy the link it adds the link to my thread and not the image.
Do I need to use a different link? The embed in HTML one maybe.

It's also worth noting imgur has a community of good-hearted but anxiety-ridden and extremely snarky commenters. The front page is a good browse.

And they'll comment on your pics if you set them to "Public"
