    I thought this one was the same as the lightning bolt one, the bars are offset if you know what I mean.

    The "lightning bolt" version is for guitars where the stud inserts are not drilled with a compensation angle relative to the end of the fingerboard.

    The compensation built into this bridge is equivalent to the lightning bridge.
    Guitars with the offset studs (vintage spec) don't necessarily require any hardware compensation, but that's certainly not written in stone.

    Bridgehouse tested one out for me on his 50's les paul special and it intonated well on that too.
