Humungatorious price drop for this week. £1,399. A minty fresh CS Strat for £1,000 off shop price.
If it doesn't go at this price, which I'll hold for this week, then it's off to Reverb or even Bumtree (gasp).
EDIT: And that did the trick! Thanks to everyone who got in touch and sorry to those who lost out. One man got a stupendous bargain here, I think.
Desert sand colour, relic’d (but not too heavily).
Weight is 7.93lb
Nut width is 1 & 3/4" (43mm)
When I was 16 a guy at school (hey, I’ve just Googled him:[
http://marcuscorbett.com/]) had one of these (ok, not a relic’d CS probably as we
are talking the mid-70s, but close enough). I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread and I’ve wanted one ever since, so when I came into sufficient GAS funds last year I marched out to get the Guitar of my Dreams, tried a whole bunch of Strats and liked this one best.
The trouble is that, while it's a lovely guitar, I’ve found I’m not really a Strat man. Prefer Teles and 335s, so this one is languishing. Rather than having it sitting there not being played very much, I’d like to move it on to someone who will love and cherish it. Also, I have a bathroom to pay for…
For sale at £1,699, which seems a decent saving on my price of £2,399 in September 2016, especially as it’s never been out of the house and only lightly played. So minty it's still got the foam bit on the hard case, and all the nice bits inside.
No trades, thanks (see bathroom ref above).
I am based in Central London, if you want to drop by and play. Tea, biscuits and small friendly dog for company.

You need an idea of what you are going to do, but it should be a vague idea.

I owned a CS '56 which I loved (only sold it to fund a Masterbuilt). Great spec similar to this. The pick up choice and quarter sawn neck are what makes this stand out, imho. Very rare colour and scratchplate too.
