Gibson SG VOS Maestro neck profile

Hi

I'm about to purchase a 2005 Gibson SG VOS Maestro and was wondering whether the neck profile is really thin? How does it compare to Gibson's 60s profile?

I had one and found it quite flat and wide.

A lit different from what you would class as the Gibson 60s neck.

More a shallow D than a C

The ones I've played are quite similar to the SG 61 Reissue necks. A really nice profile for me - the speed of the Gibson 60's size but with a bit more width which stops me "falling off" the board. Excellent for slide playing!

I've had a couple of historic SGs.  Would agree with shallow D, flat and wide.
