I am making lots of L/P standards at the moment with really really nice tops, I might photograph them for you just to wet your appetite. @bridgehouse sorry, no basses, they tend to sell as fast as I can make them. I do have lots of hardware, but I'm reluctant to sell it on its own as I'm thinking of making up some bass kits next year. Unless you fancy a short scale Jazz bass, I've also got part built Ricky bass same as the pink one I made about a year or so ago.

I was out David Dykes today and I met Terry Morgan, what a nice guy.

This is bound to get lots of "you are Terry Morgan" comments.   both make LP's, both keep saying they are retiring... both still stocking up on more wood????

     Tongue-in-cheek,

NO mine are not real Les Paul's, I don't use hide glue, I use a full width tenant joint, I remove all the sharp corners round round the neck joint to make it easier to get to the lower frets. I use a jointer for all my joints and I use full height binding in the low horn. I'm sure there are other things about my Les Paul's, that the purists will crucify me for doing.

I wasn't at David Dykes buying wood I was delivering wood to him, I slot fingerboard for him. I also do a lot of jointing for him. So if you ever buy a pre-joined body blank, you know where it was jointed.

Just trying to throw us of the scent?

What a disappointing thread; I misread David Dyke as David Icke.

I thought for one glorious moment that TM had given up building high end Gibson copies to dedicate his life to exposing the shape-shifting reptilian lizards.

    Who??
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
