SOLD: Boss CE-2 Chorus MIT Mint £90

I bought this from Pro Music in Bristol in June 1988 and the serial number confirms it was made in Taiwan in March 1988.

Used a few times, then been in its box in the cupboard all those years. Works fine.

Pretty much mint condition.

£90 posted to you in the UK or meetup and collect near M25 J6






 














Box has some minor adhesive residue from brown packing tape that I unwisely used at one point.

I usually work on the basis of 2/3 of new price, so £32.66 would be a fairer price.

I think I agree with that -- using inflation figures means that £49 in 1988 would be £126.70, and 2/3 of that is £84. Add the postage and you have £90.

Or it can be compared with the equivalent new product with the same circuitry -- the Boss CE-2W, which is £189, so I should be pricing mine at £132... :-) though I accept that the CE-2W has stereo out ...

Actually all I did was survey what these generally go for ... and notice how beaten up most of them look in comparison ...

So I'm sticking with £90 for now ...

I own two MIT CE-2s. I bought one on here recently for £80 in decent nick. The other I paid £85 for. It was cosmetically better than the one I paid £80 for - but had been modded. I then spent more on getting it returned to factory spec.

The OP’s is exceptionally clean - and has a known history. £90 sounds very reasonable to me....
