eBay Rickenbacker Question

chap on eBay selling a Ricky 360 in desirable walnut:

Only to my untutored Eye it looks like the less aesthetically pleasing and indeed somewhat cheaper 330 model.

I messaged the seller but he insists it’s a 360 and his receipt says so.  Am I going mad?

You do get the odd square-bodied 360, but that’s the George Harrison/ Tom Petty thing, which this ain’t. 

That’s a 330-12, or some variant of it (iirc they give the walnut/maple ones different names)

Definitely not a 360-12 though.

That looks like a 330 to me. Plus the PMT link he is providing is to an actual 360 - totally different shape.

I spotted that the other day, was gonna message him to get him to correct the listing, but couldn’t be arsed.

It’s definitely a 330/12 - the only 360s with the 330 body shape are the 360V64 or the 360/WB - neither of which have been issued in the walnut finish.
