Best relic nitro finish service in the UK?

I'm planning a Jazzmaster partscaster and quite fancy a light relic nitro finish. Fenders and MJT seem the most authentic to me, but I'd prefer to stay in the UK. Who's the best? I don't really like the overdone, unauthentic look that you see so often - just light, natural wear. Cheers.

It’d be wrong not to mention @lonestar here, he does might my fine work, particularly if you are looking for a light relic -he nails that look and is great to deal with.

SC Relics, our @lonestar does some fantastic work, he’s doing a Nocaster relic for me at the moment which looks excellent!

I'll second that. Paul Neald at Retro169 is a master of aged and reliced finishes. He's in Newquay, Cornwall. He's done some lovely work for me. Tasteful ageing, not the disc sander look

A refinish on a strat or tele can range from £150 to £500 (these are prices I got when I phoned around companies last year to refinish my own Guitar and long before I started my business). My prices have ageing built into the cost.

Another vote for @lonestar - his work is amazing.

Definitely @lonestar He did an amazing job on my Strat refinish. Down to mixing a custom colour for me and getting EXACTLY the right amount of checking on it for me.

His communication is fantastic too which is definitely not the case for some of the other options.

I'm massively overdue doing a proper NGD thread for it actually

@lonestar How much would you charge for spraying a raw ash strat body (i.e. no sanding or stripping required)?

Some of the "finish over finish" pieces have been taking my fancy when done well (Suhrs, for example, are terrible; pretty much the only bad thing they've ever done).
So, how easy is it to do nitro over poly? Saves you having to strip the guitar but will the nitro adhere to poly and can you get a convincing finish over finish relic?
