Your 'best rig' moment

I was wondering- when was your rig at its best?

This is probably my fave incarnation of mine

Wish I'd not sold the SIB Echodrive top left :(

In about one hour's time.  It's almost perfect.  I'm just going to tinker with the amp settings, change the chorus and delay slightly, and .....

That pedal board seems to dwarf the amps, especially the Fender, nice work!
Mine was ironically when i was predominantly a vocalist in one group, as it was simple set up because it was only needed on a few songs. A nice borrowed strat style guitar, lpb boost, and one of those Champ 600 amps, mic'd up. No photos though sadly
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

The Fender (Blues JR) was there as my then go-to (a Tweed 57 Twin) was being repaired and I borrowed it- but with the Cornell it just WORKED.

Today. At its peak, my gigging rig was stereo ac30s with a 12u flight cased rack rig and midi control. Was totally impractical but probably the most impressive to behold. Today it's a mid sized board and one ac30, smaller but I can work it much more effectively.

It's pretty much performing at its peak right now - otherwise there wouldn't be much point in having it, would there?

Jaden Rose Series 2 -> Polytune -> Ninety Orange -> Boo Boost -> Jet City JCA50H -> Flashback (in the loop) -> Jet City 2x12" with V30 and G12T-75

    Simple, but very effective.

You'll have to wait until Saturday for a photo, though. Made a new pedalboard today, just waiting for the first coat of paint to dry...

A few years ago; Gibbo 335 and Tokai Love Rock - Wizard Wah - Sunface - Beano Boost - HBOD clone - Swamp Thang - Aqua Puss - 18w clone. Sadly most of that's gone now!

    Fat-neck ES-335 > Liquid Sunshine > clean channel of a Stagg GA-20R combo turned up to 11.

I shit you not, that rig sounded phenomenal! I have none of it left. :(

This thread interests me, so let's resurrect it! That original gassage rig is absolutely insane. Mine was at it's best at this point:

  • Given the necro-bump, I have to say that I stand corrected on mine.

    I now have:

Jaden Rose S2 -> Polytune -> Mooer Ninety Orange -> Boo Boost
    -> Soldano Decatone
-> TC Alter Ego -> TC Flashback
-> Jet City JCA24S with the stock Eminence speakers

    Heaven.

  • Slim neck 335 > Liquid Sunshine MkIII / Xotic BBMB >  Frantone Vibutron > Deluxe Memory Man or RE-20 Space Echo > Deluxe Reverb.

Other drive pedals might cycle in and out (various tweed flavoured ones I want to try) but realistically I'm not going to improve on that.

Doesn't stop me wanting a Cornell Romany though :)

In terms of mine my current rig of

DGT -> CAE Wah -> Xotic SP -> Liquid Sunshine -> Flint -> Puretone

Is the best I've ever sounded, I'm just getting a bit fed up of tap dancing.

Early 90s.. Rak Distortion set at 1 > Butler Real Tube pedal gain half way >ABY insert > Yamaha Stereo Chorus > Boss Pitchsifter delay > Arion stage tuner (I  know but it worked...)
Into a late 60s Marshall superlead 50W head and a PARK 4x12 for the distorted tone. ABY into a 70s Fender twin (the one with the wheels) for the clean
And a Laney linebacker stage amp for moitoring. Don't know how that was set up... see back in those days we had roadies and I had a guitar tech :( ..
Now I have to learn about the technicalities of FX pedals and Amps and how to route them all... and I'm not a better musician for it!

I used to gig with a jtm45 a Boss SD-1 and DM-2 and that's it, my current rig is bigger and more complex and I don't think I sound any 'better'

It might be just now actually, though my pedalboard is in a state of flux...
