Upgrading from a Licensed Floyd Rose bridge

I was wondering how the upgrade went for you? I had something very similar happen to one of my Washburns (X40Pro) when I was living in Spain and also had a luthier (Juan Brieva - awesome guy and great work) drill it out and dowel it like yours. It works like a charm now.
However, I have a Washburn BT10 that I bought a Gotoh GE1996T for because I wanted to change it to all black hardware but unfortunately, it did not come with a locking nut and I'm not convinced it would work if it did. I have one laying around with BR3 stamped on the back but it is WAY taller than the original which leaves me stuck with a black trem and chrome locking nut. What locking nut did you end up using on yours - or did you keep the original locking nut?
