Well, godfather.

So, my 9 y/o god-daughter, Flo, starred in Aladdin last night in Kay's Aladdin in Worcester.

She's the nearest thing I have to a kid, and quite an amazing young lady. I totally get the whole kid thing since she's been around and it's so lovely to have her to take out when we can - plus apparently it's 'very cool' to have a gay couple as god parents and she leverages it for bragging rights at school.

Panto was great- real old school- more boos and hisses than a Britney live performance.

I was so proud of Flo, and also she nailed her 'splits' and cartwheels and she deffo had the best colour ballarina dress (apparently the colours caused no end of arguments in the kids rehersals so I have to say hers was the BEST colour!)

I can only conclude I've missed out on this parenthood malarky, but Flo says she's gonna sort that.

What was very funny was she totally ignored her mum and dad after the show (they're seemingly 'not cool') and did the 'shy' thing until me and Ali pitched up and she ran over and gave high fives.....we are officially 'rad', as she explained.
