By coincidence I just read a piece in the Sunday paper where someone likened Geri Halliwell's singing voice to " a skeleton writhing around on a corrugated iron roof" I'm not sure of that's good or bad.

Sleigh Ride. I remember getting it for Christmas one year on CD single as a stocking filler.

No idea why, you’d have to ask my parents. I’m pretty sure at the time, I was playing Lightning Seeds greatest hits and Bon Jovi’s Cross Road on heavy rotation so not sure it was totally in keeping with my tastes, such as they were.
