Wax potted Buckers

I want to remove the covers from a set of mules, but how much wax am I going to have to deal with and whats the best way to safely remove it all

Mine aren't potted and I though that was the case with all Mules unless custom ordered?

According to their website it can be either.  If you order direct, you select which you want as part of the order process.

If you buy from a shop, it probably depends what they order in.

They are second hand and definitely have a wax residue on the underside
