Both lovely fellows to deal with and I couldn't be happier with my new toys, truly a combination to rival anything except maybe IPA and pork scratchings. The Gretsch sounds heavenly through the J20 too and I'm looking forward to my old Tokai Strat slotting in when @lamf68 has worked his sonic blue magic on it.

I'm feeling like a very lucky boy today, the kitchen is finished , the Mrs is happily watching shit on the telly so I've got the rest of the night with these beauties.

@hobbio , I've just recorded 3 x 1 minute ish clips , clean, gunshot grit and gunshot o/d all the feline into the bright channel of thr lazy J.
Unfortunately I am hopeless at recording so it's my phone on my lap set to record so there's as much pick noise as amplified sound (Sunday morning so VAC on full !)

Thanks Jon, it's my second Supreme, the first one I picked up used for a good price on a whim. Loved the sound and the playability but the bubble gum and gold colour scheme finally got to me and I let it go. This one is much more me, it's like the Les Paul I've always wanted so I'll tip my hat to you sir for a job well done :-)

The other one I let go last year to a chap on here. It was a pinky purple colour with gold hardware. Think it had BK pickups but not sure, either way it played and sounded incredible but the colour.......... :-)

Horses for courses though, when I picked up this current one the chap selling it said he would have had the bubble gum one in a heartbeat as he loved the sound of thr colour scheme.
