US Spellchecker

I know the mods and admins are very busy, but if you do have time, would it be possible to put an English version of the dictionary in the spellchecker.  It is annoying to have words that you have spelled correctly come up underlined in red because the spell checker is 'murican

I'm at work on an antiquated version of IE.

You are right.  I've just tried it with Firefox and it's OK.  They have to provide us with Firefox as there are some sites (including a GIS System on the internal intranet) that aren't compatible with the IE we have.

Unfortunately, our IT department have managed to break Firefox in their implementation of it.  I tried to post this reply in Firefox, and the post comment button wouldn't work, and then Firefox crashed.  It also won't remember my password in Firefox.
