Issues entering text on android.

I can enter text in the subject box fine, but in this box the spacebar/word complete/punctuation repeats the first letter of the word. Which in turn screws up autocorrect 

I can get over it if i type space then delete, then space etc.. Many times

(i am now typing a simple sentence to demonstrate.) 

Works fine on all other phone and web functions.

This has taken a very long time to write

Seems ok on Google keyboard so must be Swiftkey.

I stress it is fine on other sites and forums. And subject lines

Something similar has been happening to me. The afro courgette suggestions don't "take" when I tap them.

It's SwiftKey download the beta version that sorts it out

I was going to post last night, all was perfect!

Thanks for reminding me, I had forgotten.

I was having the issue using the standard Google keyboard. SwiftKey beta seems to have solved it.
