If you're definitely going to get a new cab, the Harley Benton G212V can't be touched for the money - it's under £200 *new* fitted with two V30s - you'll easily get £100 for the speakers if you don't like them. It's a ply cabinet and sounds very good.

The only pair of speakers I’ve heard in one which really didn’t sound good was a G12M-65 Creamback and a Classic Lead 80 - that was horrible.

Did the cab originally come with the V30s? I ask because Harley Benton do a non v30 cab, the cab on that one is not built of ply, so could possibly have been a different cab completely
