Why is it that all the constellations I’m used to seeing at home (51 deg N) are all to cock when I’m viewing them off the coast of Africa (16 deg N) ?  E.g. The Plough is upside-down FFS!

I also noticed this in Cuba - the moon phased vertically!!

I can’t get my head around it.

It's because the CIA have mounted prisms in the sky to simulate a spherical earth for the unspecified benefit of the New World Order. I watched a YouTube video about it.

my dad lives in north Queensland and if memory serves he's about 19 deg S
Orion could be seen but it was on it's side and slightly upside down..
and the crescent moon was like the letter U
which was cool..

Delphinus?  Has a couple of clusters and a decent planetary nebula nearby if I remember right.

Point one - you're so far south you probably can't even see it the normal way up. (At a guess.)

Point two - assuming you're at Africa on holiday, what the heck are you typing for!  Get out more!

Reason being is that I have the exact outline on my calf in moles!

No - I'm being perfectly serious !  The world is round, yeah... (except it isn't 'round' - as that is a two-dimensional shape)... but that doesn't explain to my brain why the moon phases vertically for example.  I get that objects will appear higher or lower relative to the local horizon depending on your latitude, but I don't get why they rotate.

Edit: Yeah I do... I've just made a small papier-mache model of the universe and realised that of course things will rotate !

The world is a flat disc .. please keep up. Don't go too far to the edge or you'll fall off.
