GAS: sane or insane?

If one already posesses 2 off 2x12 combos, and both A & B 4x12 cabs (plus a variety of heads), is it sane to GAS for a 2x12 cab?

Yes.

and a 1x12 cab. 

In fact a couple of 2x12 and 1x12 so you can have an entirely justifiable scientific modular approach to your chosen venue.

I think 2x12's look and sound very cool, so it seems a very sane case of GASsage to me and one that should be acted upon with immediate effect.

A 2x12 cab that goes with a 2x12 amp seems very sensible and the option to use it with a head when you don't want to take a 4x12 cab sounds very sensible.

If you play differnet size gigs then it's ok to have a different rig to suit the gig
