for a nano (and assuming its use is to crank in a pantry)  Id want/expect a lot less than 5 watt............. thats awfully loud

They sound pretty good. Looks like there's two versions, one with FX loop and one without (probably an older version without, and likely to be the one in GG as a loop isn't mentioned in the spec). Loop is a great idea and often missed on this type of amp - team it up with a Zoom MS70CDr for hours of compact fun.
