    Makes the amp less bright :).

    There are actually three possible caps to remove - two will make the amp less bright at all settings, and the third will have less effect the further up you set the preamp gain... if you usually set the gain up full, there's no point in doing that one.

    It's best not to fully remove the cap but just to cut one of the wires, so it can be easily put back if you change your mind.

    i tried it both ways and left it stock in the end, you can easily dial out the highs with the presence and treble

    the most important thing with these amps is speaker choice, it makes a massive difference.

    With a G12 T75 it sounds OK, with a 75w Creamback it sounds awesome
