Ohmage question

Just checking if it's alright to run a 16ohm speaker and an 8 ohm speaker from the left and right channels of a Palmer 402 stereo power amp - no valves ! Presumably the 16 ohm speaker would be a little quieter given equal volume ?

According to the Manual it should be ok as long as they are 4 ohms or higher. SS amps don't usually mind a higher impedance but anything below is a risk.
