American finance is much more fluid  than the UK .There are huge funds available from doctors ,dentists ,lawyers etc .over here they a public schcol inherited wealth wallahs  and invest in more institutional safer schemes rather than risk .They say its risk but thats just a wind up .Its a different ethos .America is still the wild west where as the UK is still Edwardian from a financiers point of view .Its still old school chums  banding together and playing  a very limited field where they can shift money around and make a  small profit on each deal .
